Boxing Vs MMA does this comparison stand?

In recent years there has been a great deal of grief over what would happen in a match between one Boxer with an MMA athlete. Opinions differ and everyone has an opinion on the subject, usually influenced by what he does or what sport he likes. But let us try to analyze it in depth in order to give, if possible, a more detailed answer than the cafe conversations that are heard here and there.
To begin with we can all (those with body brakes) agree on one thing, that an MMA athlete could not "stand" with a boxer in the ring on boxing terms as would be the case if the terms were reversed (since we have to do with athletes of a similar level in their sport). So what is the point of this comparison?
Man, as a nature, always has the need to compare and compare, to find his limits and to overcome them. By repeating this process over and over again, essentially overthrowing himself and his achievements, he manages to evolve. It has not been long since this happened with martial arts and martial arts. Athletes of all styles competed in the cage. The result was traditional sports such as πυγμαχία, muay thai, wrestling, judo etc. to create the current MMA.
All well and good, but in the end McGregor would beat Mayweather?
Once we have clarified that everyone is a king in their own field, you transfer the question to road conditions. In other words, we are talking about whether the two of them "get flat", who would "beat" whom? The question itself is funny but in a world without values that renegotiates the obvious to a few the answer seems obvious.
The two of them, then, will never get in the way even in the unlikely event that they meet. Their bodyguards would do all the work. So we are talking about the X boxer with the X MMA athlete.
Most people encounters on the road end in the first seconds and in the standing battle (because friends are lurking on the ground). There usually the one who "hits" the most is the most violent, the one who will hit first. That is, the one who has the fewest suspensions or who protects something very important for him and is right on his side. Also, one who does MMA to get his opponent on the ground from the beginning, must know that he is a boxer (striker in general) otherwise he would just hit him and not fight him. To know this in advance he must have scouted. Thus, usually the "winner" will be the one who has the highest motivation. Either selfish or altruistic.
So, the essential question is which person do you want to be, the selfish or the altruistic? Their ambassador "fight well" or his "all for the result"? The one who transmits values through his sport or the one who uses it to become more "much" trying to fill the personality gaps he has?
P.S: Mayweather was already an Olympian in 1996 and won his first professional world title in 1998 when McGregor was 8 and 10 years old respectively, so he probably had a poster in his room.
